It has been said
that one of the pathways to happiness is to,
"Find something you love to do, and then
find a way to make money doing it." That's
where our story begins... |
John
Fallon grew up on Long Island, where he developed
a peculiar fascination with the movies...or more
specifically, the music used in movies. From an
early age, John collected film scores and could
identify the composer and title from any film,
after hearing just a couple of bars of its score.
As you might imagine, this was a skill that few
people in junior high found to be impressive and
rightfully earned John the title of being a Movie
Geek! Nevertheless, alas...John remained true
to his passions and chose to pursue a degree in
film studies from Rhode Island College. While
in school, John developed the skills necessary
to start Fallon Productions, a full service video
production and editing service based out of East
Providence, RI. It is also, where John and Steve
first met.
Steve
Morgenweck always wanted to be on stage. Unfortunately,
he cannot sing, cannot dance, and is a little
too plump to be the next Hollywood heartthrob.
Figuring that teaching was sort of performing
for a captive audience of little people, Steve
went to college to study education, but soon found
that his academics took a back seat to his extracurricular
involvements, which included several leadership
positions and a job planning social activities
for the campus community. Through these experiences,
Steve discovered a passion for organizational
training, which turned out to be the perfect blend
of education and entertainment. In 1995, Steve
started Dynamic Development, a training company
specializing in team building and organizational
development.
Most relationships that you start in college
don't extend much further than the parking lot
following the graduation ceremony. That was not
the case for John and Steve. Their friendship
has transcended the years and many of the trials
and tribulations of becoming adults...like getting
married, starting families, and staying true to
the Red Sox!
With a deeply seeded entrepreneurial spirit among
the things they share, John and Steve are always
on the look out for new opportunities. The creation
of their first game show, "Think You Know
Movies?" made too much sense to ignore. Neatly
packaged into one program was John's love of movies,
Steve's love of performing, and most importantly,
the chance to work together on a project. After
a great reception from the college market, the
business quickly expanded to become "THINK
YOU KNOW? Games Shows," featuring a unique
assortment of highly interactive programs celebrating
all aspects of popular culture. |
